Colleen Anderson lives in Vancouver, BC and writes in varying genres from dark fantasy, science fiction, horror, slipstream, erotic, literary, to poetry. She has written nonfiction articles as well as been a freelance copyeditor for many years.
Not a creature of habit, she tends to work on several ideas at once. Currently she is working on a fantasy novel, an erotic novel, a steampunk story and a story about skin, rewriting other stories and contemplating how to write with a cat on her arms.
She is a poetry editor for Chizine the web magazine, as well as being a slush editor for ChiZine Publications, which produces trade paperbacks of dark fiction. http://www.chizine.com/chizinepub/
British Fantasycon takes place in Brighton, England this year on Sept. 30 and Colleen will be going to see if she what speculative fiction looks like on the other side of the pond. “It’s Only Words” has just come out through The Horror Anthology of Horror Anthologies and “Tasty Morsels” will be coming out in Polluto #8. Both of these are British publications.
New poems will be coming out in Candle in the Attic Window, Witches & Pagans #23 and Bull Spec. Another story “A Book By Its Cover” should be out in the Mirror Shades anthology this fall.
